Get Help!

So what good are the adults in your life when you are doing a book report?

Consider:

  • Discussing your book and pre-outline with them.
  • Bouncing ideas off them.
  • Talking things over with them when you get stuck.
  • Having them read over a rough copy and offer suggestions for improvement.
(No, they are not allowed to rewrite it for you!)
  • Having them help you or show you where to go for help when you aren't sure about quoting, giving authors credit, using a certain computer program, etc.
  • "Testing" your final book report on them before you hand it in.
