Tips for Revising

Once you feel your report is done, line up a set of readers (or at least one, like your Mom or Dad) to read and comment on it. Then, go back and highlight any sentence your readers had trouble understanding. Do this by clicking on the sentence and dragging your mouse over it.

Read the sentence aloud, once or even twice.

1- Does it make sense?
2- Is there another way to say it that might make it clearer?

Say this new sentence aloud. If it sounds good to you, replace the old sentence with the new one.

When you're done, get ready to print out the final draft.
